 Main Purpose of the Role

The key purpose of the role is to own one or more of our internal systems/ applications, which includes Sales force service cloud, used primarily by customer service and operational teams, as a product. You would own the product/s roadmap to ensure that it meets the needs of our users and processes, whilst also managing efficient delivery against this roadmap by 3rd parties and delivery teams. This is an internal product owner role. It is not customer facing and does not define external customer product requirements or experience.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Working with internal stakeholders to assess business needs and build a roadmap for the product/s
  • Engaging with third parties to understand existing and new product capabilities and assess whether these can be used to improve our processes or user experience
  • Managing backlog and prioritising improvements and larger projects based on business benefit.
  • Detailing requirements and functional specifications and engaging with technical teams and third parties for delivery and testing of these
  • Work closely with the process team to ensure the product improvements support the business process
  • Ensuring that what is delivered by third parties and technical teams meet the functional requirements
  • Be the internal product expert and be able to advise on the key features, current issues and future improvements.
  • Managing and delivering responses to all product related queries.
  • Managing spend with third parties.

 Skills and Experience Required

  • Min of 3+ years of Salesforce experience is a must. Admin certification will be an advantage
  • Experience or knowledge of IVR systems would be an advantage
  • Functional and non-functional requirements gathering and backlog prioritisation experience
  • Exposure to agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a high-profile role in a dynamic, pressurized, start-up style environment subject to rapid change.
