Main Purpose of the Role

Accountable for a quality performance of the Truphone services on any device or mobile connectivity equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers ensuring responsiveness to existing and new needs and initiatives.
  • Detect, diagnose and fix device and SIM related problems.
  • Optimize the customer experience based on device, network and SIM interactions.
  • Perform quality assurance and testing of a large variety of devices.
  • Engage with internal teams and external parties on identifying device, SIM and network problems and solutions.
  • Perform incident, problem and change management activities.
  • Maintain a roadmap of supported and not-supported devices or features
  • Engage on optimizing the customer experience before new devices and products are released
  • Impact assess device and SIM requirements and solutions
  • Clearly articulate and communicate the influence of device and SIM solutions to the customer experience
  • Create processes that ensure continuous learning and customer experience optimization related with device, SIM and network management

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5 years of technical and engineering experience in SIM, device and radio access networks technologies
  • Large experience with testing and quality assurance
  • Large experience in operational environments and organizations
  • Great spoken and written communication skills
  • Able to operate with a high degree of autonomy
  • Contributes to the definition of processes
  • Demonstrable leadership and excellent relationship management skills.
