Main Purpose of the Role

The Technology Operational Manager works closely with the leadership team to identify key areas for improvement in performance and drive Truphone forward to better results through continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and lead a programme of continuous improvement to enable Truphone to deliver and exceed expectations
  • Design and implement processes related with ways of working
  • Optimize existing processes based on current and future needs
  • To interpret multiple data sources to identify priority areas for improvement
  • Accountable for the dissemination of information on significant performance events to key individuals internal & external
  • Identify areas of operations where performance improvement is required
  • Report to the leadership team on the status of the improvement programme and its impact on performance
  • Lead the relationship with partners to agree and refine reporting, escalation and decision making processes to optimise performance
  • Lead and inspire the team to maintain full engagement in meeting business objectives.
  • Manage and comply with Company procedures to provide appropriate resources, communication strategies, training, competency and evaluate fitness of staff to safely deliver their accountabilities.

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience of leading a programme of initiatives to improve operational performance
  • Great facilitation skills
  • Great experience in designing and implementing processes
  • ITIL or equivalent certification
  • Able to quickly understand & articulate complex issues
  • Good communication skills and a customer focussed approach
  • Experience of programme management
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to anticipate the needs of the business
  • Ability to form teams across various industry companies & departments - working together to improve performance.
  • Energetic and motivated to get results, and you need to be comfortable being judged by results.
